This is a page for all the flowers that don't fit anywhere else.

Having started work on the Flaming Parrot tulips whilst they were still developing, my eye kept being drawn to one of the flowers that was opening so dramatically. So I stopped painting the three tulips to make a study of that single bloom - and I'm so glad that I did!

The Iris Seed Pods were painted one winter when there was nothing else to hand. They are the only pods I have painted so far but have proved to be very popular, so perhaps it is time to work on some more.
